Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and send out invoices to clients and subcontractors based on project milestones and contracts.
Verify the accuracy of billing data, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
Process and record payments received from clients and payments made to subcontractors.
Assist in resolving billing discrepancies and client inquiries related to construction projects.
Maintain up-to-date billing system records, ensuring all project-related financial documentation is accurate and accessible.
Generate reports and summaries of account activities, outstanding balances, and project costs.
Collaborate with project managers, the Billing Manager, and other team members to improve billing processes.
Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management.
Assist with the month-end closing processes, ensuring all project billing is complete and accurate.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a billing or accounting role, preferably in the construction industry.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Experience with construction billing software and systems (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Procore).
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
