Our client is hiring a Licensed P&C Claims Examiner. The Claim Examiner is responsible for the adjudication of ancillary claims and claims follow-up. They also assist with invoicing as a backup to overflow. They are looking for someone between 7 am-7 pm Monday-Friday and 2 Saturdays a month from 8 am-3 pm.
Pay: $21-$23/hr
Location: North Austin, TX
Hybrid schedule - 2 days in the office after training period.
Key Responsibilities Include
Initiate and finalize all claim reports submitted via phone, email, chat, and online portal/app using the adjudication process established by the department
Document loss report by establishing part and labor costs by utilizing approved pricing standards and labor and parts guides
Provide claim information or status to existing open or pending claims and communicate updates to service advisors or customers and/or other stakeholders
Partner with other departments, claim adjusters, and management staff to identify options that support claims resolution and approval
Properly manage and maintain claim loss reports to ensure files are being settled and closed
Maintain a continual working knowledge of products and services
Communicate and dispatch claim requests to preferred vendor partners
Deliver outstanding service to customers

About You
Property and Casualty license mandatory, with a minimum of 5 years' experience
Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a high-volume inbound call environment
Possesses a strong understanding of claims processes
Must have great verbal and written communication skills
Critical thinking skills
Ability to read and understand contractual language
