We are seeking a seasoned Post-Closer/Servicer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued growth and success

Position Overview:

The Post-Closer/Servicer will be responsible for managing the post-closing process and servicing loans in our lending portfolio. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a deep understanding of the lending industry, and the ability to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in loan servicing, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Post-Closing Duties:
  • Review and verify all closing documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure all post-closing conditions are met and documented.
  • Coordinate with title companies, escrow agents, and other parties to resolve any post-closing issues.
  • File and upload collateral packages to respective counterparties.
  • Coordinate with internal accounting teams to facilitate front-end reconciliation.

Loan Servicing:
  • Manage expedient onboarding/offboarding and record keeping of all loans in line with our respective capital parties requirements.
  • Reconcile short interest, first payment, and intermediate impounds with interim servicer.
  • Prepare month end escrow reports to third party administrators and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on loan performance and servicing metrics.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in loan servicing.

Customer Service:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to borrowers, investors, and other stakeholders.
  • Resolve borrower inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Facilitate ongoing draw requests for ongoing bridge loans.
  • Coordinate with borrowers to provide pay-off statements.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and partners.

Qualifications:

Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the real estate lending industry, specifically in post-closing and loan servicing roles.
  • Proven track record of managing a loan portfolio with high efficiency and accuracy.

Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of Non-QM Investment lending practices and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in loan servicing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, real estate, or a related field preferred.
