Job Description:

DELAMAR Hotel Collection- boutique luxury hotel group with distinct charm and excellent service is seeking an Revenue Analyst to assist the Director of Revenue Management with daily tasks and responsibilities as well as strategize effective ways of optimizing revenue.

?OVERVIEW:

The Revenue Analyst is responsible to design and implement overall room pricing/packages for hotel properties to optimize revenue. This role offers the opportunity to grow within the organization in the discipline of Revenue Management. The Revenue Analyst plays a crucial role in maximizing revenue and optimizing profitability, provides assistance to the Revenue Manager in monitoring inventories to ensure the most effective balance between demand and availability, managing transient and group rates, and provides insightful data-driven recommendations to improve occupancy, pricing and overall financial performance. In the ongoing effort to deliver guest service and financial profitability, the Revenue Analyst duties include but are not limited to the below.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Be knowledgeable of all rates, room types as well as products & services offered at all the hotels.
• Be knowledgeable of all special rates and promotions at all the hotels.
• Ensure that all revenue management related systems are maintained. Monitor room availability, restrictions, and distribution channels to ensure optimal inventory allocation and maximize revenue potential.
• Ensuring that all rates are correctly loaded into the PMS, and accurately complete rate loading/mapping in central reservation system-Sabre, including rate plans, restrictions, and channel configurations, so that the rates are viewable in the proper channels of sale.
• Monitoring and utilizing the revenue management software DUETTO to analyze historical data and to identify opportunities for revenue optimization
• Review the hotels' comp-set rates on brand websites to monitor market placement. Conduct ongoing analysis of competitor pricing, positioning, and promotional strategies to identify market opportunities and threats.
• Assist with the implementation of hotel sales strategy, pricing recommendations and inventory management across all channels.
• Work closely with Reservations and Front Desk teams to communicate selling strategies and procedures to maximize room sales.
• Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop targeted promotions, packages, and campaigns to drive demand during off-peak periods.
• Work closely with the sales department to ensure group inventories, cut off dates are up to date, as well as setting up groups in SynXis for online booking whenever requested.
• Assist in the reservations team as and whenever needed.
• Actively participate in weekly sales and revenue management meetings.
• Perform the role of Director of Revenue Management whenever needed and perform other duties to meet business needs as assigned, requested or required by management.
• Adhere to all standards, policies and procedures, and consistently maintain a professional and ethical representation of the hotel/company within the Revenue Management Department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent, required.

Minimum of 2 years' experience in clerical role at hotel property, required with at least 1 years' hospitality experience.

Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office products and various hotel data management systems (OTA, PMS, GDS, Opera, etc.).

Strong communication (verbal, written) skills and be able to effectively present information in one-on-one or small group situations.

Solid organizational and planning skills with strong attention to details.

Able to read and comprehend instructions, policies, procedures.
