KVC is seeking to hire a Senior Director of Finance!! The Senior Director of Finance is responsible for overseeing the Finance Department. This may include direct reports for some or all the following accounting functions: General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Reporting, Payroll. In addition, the Senior Director of Finance is responsible for assessing and retaining constant awareness of the company's financial position and performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and establish operating procedures, financial policies, controls, and department goals
Ownership and leadership of the Payroll, General ledger, Financial reporting, and Accounts payable teams
Timely and accurate financial statement reporting
Monitors administration of established procedures and identifies opportunities for improvement
Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Act as the point person for the annul audit and 990 preparation
Collaboration across the organization to positively influence business outcomes
Create insightful financial models and management reporting to inform executive decision making
Drive key initiatives to support organizational growth
Enhance and maintain internal controls, accounting systems and processes to support growth and maintain proper GAAP accounting
Proficiency in all aspects of non-profit accounting and GAAP rules and regulations
Other duties may be assigned according to qualification of staff and development of programs.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree (B.A) from a four -year College or University
EXPERIENCE
5+ years accounting management experience
10+ years finance experience in general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
Must be proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and financial and payroll related software, experience with Microsoft Navision and ADP a plus.
