McRae Capital Management, Inc. is currently seeking an initiative-taking Associate Wealth Advisor (AWA) to join and contribute to a dynamic, forward-moving Wealth Management team. This individual will partner with the firm's Managing Partners to further strengthen client relationships, build and monitor investment portfolios, and analyze company financials to find suitable equity and fixed income investments. In addition, this individual will be tasked with providing financial planning services to clients including reviewing, analyzing, and delivering financial planning modules. The AWA will provide excellent follow-through and operational support to the partners in servicing and delivering on the needs of the clients. This critical collaborator will have a direct impact on the client experience and is vital to the success of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Provide day to day client relationship support and provide analytic and account related financial information.
Help analyze and develop customized asset allocation strategies and investment solutions for clients.
Perform thorough fundamental analysis of a company's business and financial position including cash flow, balance sheet and income statement evaluations. Coverage responsibilities will span geographies and industries.
Develop and communicate investment recommendations based on comprehensive industry and company research through various sources of information including annual reports and networking with industry contacts.
Utilize e-Money software program to create financial plans for clients.
Research multiple financial planning topics to provide best in class service to our clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; Finance/Accounting major preferred.
Minimum of 7 years' experience in security and/or industry level analysis or financial reporting.
Progress towards or willingness to pursue a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.
Solid understanding of accounting and finance.
Passion for financial markets, macroeconomics, and investment strategy.
Critical thinking, creativity, problem solving and ability to prioritize multiple projects of varying deadlines and significance.
Ability to expand on projects after initial instruction and take on additional projects proactively.
Must be proficient with advanced functions in Microsoft Excel.
