Position: Private Equity Associate
Location: Dallas, TX
Job Description: As a Private Equity Associate, you will play a pivotal role in all aspects of the investment process, from deal origination to execution and portfolio management. You will work closely with senior team members to evaluate investment opportunities, conduct due diligence, and monitor portfolio company performance.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough industry research and financial analysis to evaluate potential investment opportunities.
Assist in the preparation of investment memos and presentations for internal investment committee meetings.
Support due diligence efforts, including financial modeling, valuation analysis, and risk assessment.
Collaborate with legal, tax, and financial advisors to structure transactions and negotiate terms.
Monitor and report on portfolio company performance, identifying areas for operational improvement and growth.
Assist in preparing investor communications and reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CFA) is a plus.
2+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or private equity.
Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel
Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
