Position Summary

FedSavvy Strategies is seeking an experienced and innovative Marketing Lead to drive our marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in marketing strategy, digital marketing, content creation, and brand management. This role is pivotal in enhancing our market presence, engaging our target audience, and driving business growth.

The ability to interpret and reframe specialized services and understanding of federal contracting into easily understood language is essential to this role. Equally important is the ability to tease out and articulate underlying value and meaning. The successful candidate will be a productive professional communicator who can manage deadlines. Project management and organizational skills are essential. This marketing communications professional should possess superb professional written and spoken American English language skills and a portfolio of published content, collateral, and campaigns.

This position reports to the Managing Principal while working with other team leads. This person must be a self-starter able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy and Planning
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with FedSavvy Strategies' business objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for growth.
  • Create and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Identify and manage events we produce or participate in.

Digital Marketing
  • Lead and execute all digital marketing efforts, including SEO, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
  • Manage and optimize the company website for improved traffic, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Utilize analytics tools such as Google Analytics to measure the effectiveness of digital campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
  • Expertise in SEO using products such as Yoast to enhance website performance.
  • Able to lead, create, edit and produce video content.

Content Creation and Management
  • Develop high-quality content that resonates with our target audience, including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to produce engaging multimedia content.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and ensure all content aligns with our brand standards.
  • Manage all written communications channels to include social media presence and newsletter
  • Drive development of marketing content, website pages, and videos.
  • Lead creation and scheduling of advertising materials.

Brand Management and Public Relations
  • Enhance FedSavvy Strategies' brand awareness and reputation within the federal contracting community.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry influencers, media, and partners.
  • Plan and execute PR initiatives and events (in person and virtual) to promote the company's expertise and thought leadership.

Lead Generation and Nurturing
  • Develop and implement lead generation strategies to attract and convert potential clients.
  • Create and manage lead nurturing campaigns to maintain engagement with prospects.
  • Collaborate with the Managing Principal to ensure seamless handoff and follow-up of leads.

Performance Tracking and Reporting
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to evaluate the success of marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports on marketing activities, ROI, and performance against goals.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Utilize Google analytics to measure and monitor performance of digital content.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
  • 5+ years of experience in a B2B marketing role with experience in the federal contracting industry as strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and best practices.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.
  • Proficiency in using marketing analytics and CRM software (ideally Capsule).
  • Proficiency in Google analytics and Yoast SEO.
