Google Ads Campaign Manager | PPC / Paid Search Manager at AAMP Agency

The Google Ads Campaign Manager is responsible for implementing Pay-per-click media strategies for clients of AAMP Agency. This position will collaborate with the Marketing team to gather information on marketing campaigns, client updates, and reporting. The PPC Managers are also responsible for creating organic results for paid search campaigns on multiple media channels, maintaining PPC accounts on ad platforms like Google Adwords, and optimizing targeted keywords for campaigns to ensure the campaign reaches the

targeted audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in forming effective paid search strategies
  • Launch and optimize various PPC campaigns
  • Oversee accounts on search platforms (e.g. Google AdWords)
  • Be involved in keyword selection and audience targeting
  • Monitor budget and adjust bids to gain better ROI
  • Track KPIs to assess performance and pinpoint issues
  • Produce reports for management (e.g. dashboards)
  • Write attractive and concise copy for adverts
  • Suggest and develop new campaigns across multiple channels
  • Maintain partnerships with PPC ad platforms and vendors
  • Find ways to reduce risk of click fraud
  • Keep abreast of PPC and SEM trends

Managing a team of PPC specialists involves more than just overseeing individual campaign performance. It requires strategic leadership, effective communication, mentorship, and coordination to ensure the team's success. Team Leadership and Development:
  • Provide clear direction, goals, and expectations for the team.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative team culture that encourages innovation and continuous learning.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to provide feedback, coaching, and support in their professional development.
  • Identify individual strengths and areas for improvement, and facilitate opportunities for skill development or training.

Resource Allocation and Workflow Management:
  • Allocate resources effectively to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate with other departments or teams to ensure seamless integration of PPC campaigns with broader marketing strategies.
  • Implement project management tools or systems to streamline workflow and improve efficiency.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
  • Regularly review individual and team performance metrics to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members in optimizing campaigns, troubleshooting issues, and implementing best practices.
  • Encourage experimentation and testing of new strategies or techniques to drive better results.

Client Communication and Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, providing updates on campaign performance, and strategy recommendations, and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
  • Collaborate with account managers or client services teams to ensure alignment between client expectations and PPC strategies.
  • Conduct regular client meetings or check-ins to review campaign performance, discuss strategy adjustments, and gather feedback.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
  • Stay informed about industry trends, updates to ad platforms, and emerging technologies in PPC and digital marketing.
  • Encourage knowledge-sharing and collaboration within the team through regular meetings, brainstorming sessions, and shared learning resources.
  • Champion innovation by exploring new tools, techniques, or approaches to enhance campaign effectiveness and efficiency.

Performance Evaluation and Recognition:
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members, providing constructive feedback and recognition for achievements.
  • Recognize and celebrate individual and team successes, fostering a culture of appreciation and motivation.
  • Identify opportunities for career advancement or professional growth within the team and support team members in pursuing their goals.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in PPC campaign management
  • Expert proficiency in Google Ads and Google Analytics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of the Tour Operator industry is a plus

Salary Range:

$50,000 - $55,000 DOE

This position is in-office at our Las Vegas-based office. We can also hire remotely in Texas, Virginia, Utah, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
