The Charitable Giving Associate is an integral part of ensuring our gifts are received, recorded, reconciled, and recognized promptly and effectively to ensure exceptional donor stewardship and ensure we continue to meet our mission to welcome all.
Key Responsibilities:
Gift Processing: Manage the end-to-end process of gift processing, including accurately entering donations into the database from various sources.
Donor Records Management: Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date donor records, ensuring data integrity and supporting ongoing efforts for data hygiene.
Reconciliation: Work closely with finance and accounting teams to reconcile gifts regularly, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial protocols.
Gift Receipting and Acknowledgment: Oversee the proper receipting and coding of gifts, ensuring donors receive timely and personalized acknowledgments.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with the giving team and local Y leadership to support administrative tasks and maintain strong donor relationships.
Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure confidentiality, legal compliance, and adherence to best practices in charitable giving and donor relations.

2 years of prior administrative experience.
Strong computer systems skills (including Excel), ability to quickly learn new operating systems. Experience with Razor’s Edge and or Omatic preferred.
Self-starter who has the ability to work independently and within a team environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills
Accustomed to working with deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
