Position Summary
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing projects related to Supplier Onboarding; inclusive of Supplier Transitions to ensure they are completed accurately, completely, and in a timely fashion. This role will assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders. Coordinate internal resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time. Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress, at an individual project level as well as a consolidated view. Manage changes to project scope and schedule. This role will frequently lead cross-functional initiatives to ensure McKesson Brands requirements are being met to include Suppliers, Compliance, Product Development, Sourcing, Brand, Artwork, QA, Supply Chain Management, Business Insights, and other support functions.
This person will need to be a self-starter who can proactively solve problems, address points of disagreement, and lead cross-functional collaboration to resolve issues or avoid delays. As a result, communication skills and organizational skills are important characteristics for this position.
This individual may also be asked to facilitate supplier screening which may include introductory supplier-McKesson calls, product sample facilitation, and requests for product quotes.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Leads cross-functional projects related to McKesson Brands. Develops project plans, conducts project meetings, facilitates discussions, assigns actions, and ownership, identifies decisions and tracks progress to minimize delay(s) in schedules and/or unit operations that could jeopardize overall business activities.
2.Serves as McKesson Brands representative (SME) to gather business needs from cross-functional teams and translate into requirements for projects and tools such as SFDC, SharePoint, Highspot, Smartsheet, Sales Dashboard, etc.
3.Meeting Coordination gather topics and slides from McKesson Brands Leadership team for various meetings, schedule meetings and set agendas based on feedback from Leadership.
4.KPI Support and Tracking. Ensures McKesson Brands team and KPIs are tracked and reports issued including monthly scorecards, bi-monthly MMS leader calls and quarterly business reviews for ELT.
