Position: Physical Therapist Assistant

Salary Range: $40 to $45/hr

Responsibilities:

• Work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to implement individualized treatment plans for residents.


• Provide direct hands-on therapy, including exercises, therapeutic activities, and manual techniques, to improve mobility, strength, and range of motion.


• Assist residents with ambulation, transfers, and activities of daily living as part of their rehabilitation program.


• Monitor resident progress and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to adjust treatment plans as needed.


• Educate residents and their families on exercises and techniques to promote independence and prevent injury.


• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and resident progress in accordance with regulatory requirements.


• Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and nursing staff to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes.

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.


• Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of California.


• Experience working in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
