Title: Account Executive - Healthcare

Reports to: Director of Sales

Type: Full-Time, Salaried Exempt + Commission, Full Benefit Package with 401k


Primary Role:


Responsible for carrying out all company goals and objectives established by the Director of Sales as it relates to this position. The Account Executive is responsible for exceeding sales revenue goals, developing and maintaining valued customer relationships, expanding the company's current customer base, and developing and maintaining professional selling skills. We are looking for someone who is tenacious and self-motivating and is looking for a company to grow with.


Responsibilities:

1. Manage relationships with potential and existing healthcare customers by selling integrated solutions.
2. Timely and effective follow-up on all sales leads
3. Accurately promote the company and all the products and services offered.
4. Travel to our current and prospective clients' sites to further develop relationships and inspire confidence in our company.
5. Turn opportunities into sales by providing timely and accurate responses to customers' requests for proposals and/or bids.
6. Write and submit professional proposals.
7. Track and provide accurate sales information to company management.
8. Be a customer-facing representative of our healthcare team at industry and trade conferences and develop personal connections with leaders in your field.
9. Exceed all company sales goals and objectives as it relates to this position.
10. Maintain current, detailed, and accurate data in our CRM, providing an accurate sales forecast in real-time.
11. Other duties as required or assigned by company management


Accountability: The Account Executive will be accountable to the Director of Sales. Secondary accountability will be to the VP of Sales as well as other management, team members, and customers of the company.


Qualifications: The Account Executive shall possess a four-year degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis in business, marketing, or engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the field of sales or service of electronic equipment. The Account Executive should possess knowledge of customer relations, marketing and communications, and sales process management. Should possess a proven track record in sales. 3+ years of experience in Healthcare Capital Equipment Sales preferred.


Preferred Sales Experience: To hospital CNOs, CIOs, Technology Directors, and Nursing Staff. Experience within area organizations is a plus.


Expertise in any or all: Clinical Workflow, Communications, A/V, Technology, Software, and Integrated Solutions would be of benefit.


Travel: It is expected that this position will require a moderate to a considerable amount of travel to customer and vendor sites.


Additional Skills and Abilities:

1. Excellent written and verbal communication and superior customer service skills, including phone calls, email, text messages, and social media outreach to both internal and external customers.
2. History of successful self-management and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while effectively handling stressful situations.
3. Personable and well-organized, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse groups.
4. Must be able to read and effectively interpret general business documentation.
5. Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing, and implementing skills that allow the successful completion of a project by a specific due date.
6. Desire to grow professionally through training opportunities.
7. Proficiency in the use of personal computers, including such programs as MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
8. Valid and current driver's license.


Physical, Mental, and Environmental Requirements:

1. Employee is required to stand, walk, climb, sit and use hands and fingers.
2. Some lifting of objects up to fifty pounds is required.
3. Reaching, grasping, and carrying activities are also required.
4. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
5. Although most work is performed inside, occasional outside activities are subject to seasonal temperature fluctuations.
