Project Manager
Orlando, FL
Contract Position
This role is supporting the space systems division of one of our longest partners in our 28 years of staffing in Aerospace and Defense. This program builds satellites and spacecraft that do amazing things in space for government and commercial customers. You will be working with a team whose satellites give earlier warning of severe weather, connect troops on the battlefield, and deliver GPS directions to a billion people worldwide. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning project team and line management.
- Review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepares status reports.
- Assess project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity quality and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project mangers line mangers and clients.
- Develop and manage a schedule
Qualifications:
- Must have an Ability to Obtain Interim Secret Clearance
- Must have 5 years of experience with the following:
- Experienced multiple IT projects simultaneously
- Experience with IT software engineering project
- Has worked with various groups and organization to execute a project
- Developed and managed schedule, risk, budget, and resources
- Must have a 4 year degree to be considered
- Desired
- PMP Certified
- 5+ years' experience
