ALL4 is seeking an experienced Business Development Managing Consultant with experience in air quality and other environmental media to support our East Region. The Business Development Managing Consultant is responsible for building relationships and generating new clients/new revenue and growing clients for the organization as we continue to expand our environmental consulting business throughout the U.S. This job requires a willingness to cultivate relationships through personal connection, product knowledge, and an understanding of the environmental consulting needs of industry. This individual works closely with clients in a strategic partnership supported by a foundation of authentic communication, personal ownership, and accountability. This individual will join a team of environmental professionals that are well-versed in complex permitting, compliance, and modeling projects, and who are committed to furthering our vision as a globally recognized consulting company shaping environmental responsibility and creating distinction for employees, clients, and partners.

Requirements:
  • Serve existing and potential customers by selling ALL4 services and defining and meeting customer needs.
  • Establish new customers and accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on sales prospects.
  • Define sales opportunities, identify suspects in the marketplace, and differentiate the key attributes of the prospects that ALL4 should pursue.
  • Lead the external reach out process with prospects, including the cold call approach.
  • Model the ALL4 sales process and captivate the team to do the same.
  • Demonstrate the ability to enroll others into the ALL4 sales process (i.e., subject matter experts and client managers) and execute the process leading to new client addition.
  • Provide input and advise the Sales Director on the evolution of the ALL4 sales process.
  • Mentor and teach others in the organization the ALL4 sales process.
  • Enter all sales activity in the ALL4 CRM.
  • Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and status reports.
  • Develop ability through self-study and internal ALL4 technical training to explain technical services and products to technically educated buyers.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of environmental drivers, market conditions, and trends.
  • Exhibit ALL4's core values in all transactions both internally and externally.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or sales-oriented business degree.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the environmental field and a desire to pursue a career in sales.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable interacting with executive level management and comfortable making cold calls.
  • Familiarity and proficiency with CRM systems.
  • High proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and deadlines proactively while working independently.
