Advertised Job Summary


As a Program Manager for the Health Core, you will play a crucial role in the administration of our pilot grant funding program, designed to foster innovative research in clinical translational science. This position requires a proactive, organized individual who will oversee the lifecycle of grants from application to award through to progress reporting. You will coordinate closely with other cores within the clinical translational CTR award to ensure seamless integration of activities and optimize the impact of the funding.

Required Education and Experience


Requires a bachelor’s degree and 3 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience.




Preferred Qualifications


Experience in a clinical research environment, particularly within a Clinical Translational Science Award (CTSA) program. Familiarity with NIH grant policies and procedures and a clear understanding of the research lifecycle. Knowledge of federal and state regulations pertaining to grant funding.


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities


Ability to use all Microsoft Office applications, adaptable, flexible. Ability to interpret and apply rules and regulations. Ability to prepare reports. Ability to use technology, problem solve and utilize conscious decision making.
