Job Title:Early Childhood Education SupervisorDepartment:Health Sciences | Nisonger Center

Hire, orient, and supervise all student employees (~10-12 students) within the Early Learning Program. Provide direct training, feedback, and coaching to student employees regularly. Oversee all student experiences in the program; coordinate with the College of Education and Human Ecology for long-term student teacher placements, coordinate semester long student experiences from affiliated colleges and programs which may include observation or leadership projects within the Early Learning Program. Provides information to support management decision making regarding operations and staffing issues. Operates within assigned budget; establishes, maintains and/or approves account payments and purchases against accounts within established budget parameters; oversees and/or ensures that family tuition account balances are accurate and up to date and oversees and/or reconciles account information; create invoices, bill, and manage payments associated with the Autism Scholarship Program; Helps coordinate services between children in multiple programs. Provides support in business operations such as overseeing purchasing and ordering of supplies and equipment across programs. Liaison for various organizations within Franklin County regarding referrals and potential collaborations; organizes and maintains data within our NIRS database for our federal sponsors; and coordinates special events for Early Head Start, Early Intervention, and Nisonger Early Learning Program.



Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required; three years of relevant experience is required; experience working in field of developmental disabilities is preferred; experience in a managerial capacity is preferred; Requires successful completion of a background check; selected candidates may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
