Job Title:Post Doctoral ScholarDepartment:Medicine | Neurological Surgery


Responsibility



  • Developing micro/nano sensors and stimulators for biomedical applications and data analysis for in vitro/ in vivo environment

  • Experimental setup and data acquisition related to implantable systems

  • Presenting research findings at group meetings, scientific conferences, writing and publishing manuscripts to disseminate the findings

  • Assisting with grant writing to obtain research funds

  • Developing research objectives and carry out individual and multidisciplinary collaborative projects

  • Highly motivated and professional work ethic, committed to high quality research and a willingness to proactively support colleagues and students



Qualifications



  • Applicants should hold a BS degree and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science Engineering or a closely related field

  • A 2-year commitment is required, with the possibility of renewal up to 5 years depending on satisfactory performance

  • Strong capability in developing micro/nano sensors with component and system-level testing for biomedical applications and related data analysis

  • Collaboration in research programs with multidisciplinary research groups
