Due to tremendous business growth we now have an opportunity for a commercially minded Analyst to join our Finance team in Chicago.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze monthly plant reports for assigned business entities
P&L review and analysis
Cashflow forecasting and preparation of projects
Drive preparation of annual budget and periodic forecasting
Preparation of statutory accounts
Provide strong financial reporting integrity and analytical review of commercial opportunities, ensuring proper maintenance of customer profitability models and new customer transactions
Prepare monthly financial reviews of customers, for management review and senior reporting, and coordinate ongoing customer profitability calculations
Assist in the annual budgeting process; and compare to actual results with a view to identify, explain, and correct variances as appropriate
Oversee monthly plant reviews and presentations on results
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
BS/CPA and a minimum of 2+ years' of Accounting experience gained in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm
Keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which allows for strategic data interpretation versus simple reporting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to senior management
Ability and desire to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels including finance and non-finance managers
Capable of managing projects and time in order to meet crucial deadlines
