What We're Looking For:
Barge Design Solutions is currently seeking to fill the position of Marketing Assistant to support our marketing and proposal team. Office locations to work out of include our Nashville, TN, Knoxville, TN, Chattanooga, TN, Atlanta, GA, or Birmingham, AL office.



Responsibilities:

• In support of the marketing and proposal efforts, organizes and maintains marketing materials and data used by marketing staff to develop proposals and presentations (qualifications, staff resumes, boilerplate information, archived files, etc.).


• Leads prequalification efforts and supports qualification/proposal development, compiling and checking information, and completing forms and reports for marketing purposes.


• Assists in the proposal close-out process.


• Administers marketing systems, including maintaining codes and reports, to ensure accuracy and proper use of information.


• May generate reports on pre-contract status (win/loss), leads, and fees analysis, as well as various sales reports, as needed.


• Assists with other duties as assigned such as marketing database maintenance, surveys, special projects, research, pre-sell pieces, data entry, award submittals, etc.

Education & Experience Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, English or related field


• 0 - 2 years of related experience or 4 - 5 years experience, preferably within the AEC industry in lieu of degree


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite


• Familiarity in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Illustrator)


• Familiarity with CRM databases (Salesforce)


• Experience in supporting proposal development preferred


• Must be service-oriented with the ability to handle multiple assignments at a time and set and meet deadlines


• Can work independently and collaboratively in a team environment


• Possesses an aptitude for managing and solving tactical issues


• Possesses a high level of organizational and communication skills


• Possesses a strong command of grammar and spelling, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
