firstPRO is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist for our client located in the Greater Philadelphia area. This individual will handle a variety of helpdesk and desktop support tasks, ensuring smooth operations and quick resolution of technical issues. This role is a contract to hire opportunity and is 100% onsite. Candidates must be open to working onsite in their Bala Cynwyd, PA and Broomall, PA locations.
Responsibilities
Handle 15-20 tickets per day, providing timely and effective resolution.
Provide basic network troubleshooting and VPN connectivity support.
Understand and manage public IP address configurations.
Perform printer break/fix tasks, with a focus on Zebra printers.
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including deployment of new PCs.
Support remote employees with technical issues, guiding them through problem-solving steps.
Serve as the onsite IT support person, handling all aspects of deployment and technical assistance.
Work collaboratively with the offshore service desk, escalating tickets as needed.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related role.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
Strong understanding of basic network troubleshooting and VPN connectivity.
Experience with Zebra printers and printer break/fix support.
Ability to manage and support public IP address configurations.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively assist remote users.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
