Job Description:

Our client in Evertt, MA is seeking a Salesforce Developer for a 12-month contract. Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with the EOE/DESE/EEC/DHE Organization, Project Managers, Architects, Business Analysts, and Quality Assurance to create software deliverables and artifacts.
  2. Adhere to organization methodologies and standards; propose improvements based on software development best practices.
  3. Perform Salesforce admin duties as required, including support for integration platforms (enhancements, bug fixes).
  4. Participate in all phases of software development including requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, rollout, and documentation creation.
  5. Attend scheduled meetings to discuss current tasks and provide weekly status reports.


Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proven track record on large-scale projects with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • 4+ years of Salesforce Admin and Developer experience, including:
  • Serving as primary system administrator for Salesforce environment (100+ users).
  • Handling basic administrative functions: user account maintenance, reports, dashboards, workflows.
  • Proficiency in programming languages: SOQL, JavaScript, HTML, Apex, Lightning Web Components, CSS.
  • Experience with batch data and real-time stream processing on the Salesforce platform.
  • Application Development & Configuration expertise with Lightning App Builder, Flows, Validation rules, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • Developing UI pages using Lightning Web Components framework.
  • Salesforce API integration using REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware, and other tools.
  • Platform Developer I Certification required.

Preferred Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD).
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with SFDC-specific IDEs and version control configurations (GitHub, BitBucket, VS Code, IntelliJ, SFDX).
  • Experience with accessibility laws and WCAG 2.1 compliance.
  • Experience related to K-12 education/curriculum standards is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud solutions/technologies, especially AWS.
