Our Challenge:

As a AEM Developer, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to work on complex technical requirements. You will be responsible for managing multiple engagements, prioritize and resolve complex problems and escalate as necessary, in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

Responsibilities:
  1. Developing and maintaining AEM-based web and mobile applications, including websites, landing pages, and digital experiences.
  2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers, content authors, and other developers, to implement AEM solutions that meet business and user requirements.
  3. Designing and implementing AEM components, templates, workflows, and dialogs to enable content creation and management within AEM.
  4. Customizing and extending AEM functionality using technologies such as Java, HTL (formerly known as Sightly), and various AEM APIs.
  5. Integrating AEM with other systems and platforms, such as CRM systems, e-commerce platforms, and third-party APIs.
  6. Utilizing AEM features such as the AEM Dispatcher, Sling, and OSGi to optimize performance, security, and scalability of AEM applications.
  7. Participating in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  8. Ensuring that AEM solutions adhere to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
  9. Providing technical guidance and support to other team members and stakeholders on AEM-related topics.
  10. Staying updated with the latest AEM features, tools, and industry trends to continuously improve AEM solutions and implementations.


Requirements:

You are:
  • Proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development, including AEM 6.x and above.
  • Strong understanding of Java, JCR (Java Content Repository), and OSGi (Apache Felix/Equinox) frameworks.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) in the context of AEM development.
  • Familiarity with AEM development tools, including AEM Developer Tools for Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA, and AEM Brackets Extension.
  • Knowledge of AEM authoring, publishing, and dispatcher environments, as well as AEM deployment and configuration best practices.
  • Understanding of AEM security practices, performance optimization techniques, and accessibility standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to troubleshoot complex AEM-related issues.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
