Great opportunity for a Product Engineering Supervisor to work for a global FORTUNE manufacturer located outside of Auburn, AL.
Our client is a climate control solutions manufacturer looking for a Product Engineering Supervisor to ensure that the CAD design process is efficient, standardized, and meets the organization's requirements.
Responsibilities
Maintain the integrity of design files, provide technical support, and drive continuous improvement in CAD workflows.
Act as a point of contact for the design team, providing technical assistance and troubleshooting guidance when needed.
Responsible for leading CAD Designers supporting a product family from design through production and transfer.
Oversees analysis of production methods to ensure time and cost goals are reached.
Establish and enforce CAD standards and best practices within the organization.
Conduct independent technical investigations involving the application of complex technical principles.
Define file naming conventions, layering standards, and drafting procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in design projects.
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of CAD projects by allocating resources, monitoring progress, and ensuring that deadlines are met.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering
5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting
Experience with analytical and CAD software including SolidWorks
