Walter USA in Newton, North Carolina is looking for a:Tool Management SpecialistWalter has an opening for a Tool Management Specialist in the Newton, North Carolina area, reporting to the Regional Manager Tool Management Americas.
Key Performance Areas
- Complete management of supply chain activities for customer's cutting tools
- Operative handling of planning and procurement
- Stock management at the customer premises in Newton, NC
- Coordination of the fulfillment of contractual obligations such as savings etc.
- Coordinate technical optimization measures and activities
- Continuous utilization and maintenance of job associated software to manage and document Tool Management tasks
- Ensure the provision of the appropriate information
- Relationship management including regular internal and external communication about ongoing activities.
- Continuous improvement of existing processes to include tracking, reporting, recommending, agreeing, and implementing changes.
- Documentation of processes and process changes on site.
Your Profile
- Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain
- Proven work experience in busy manufacturing environment (ideally automotive but not essential)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and, organizational skills is mandatory for this position
- Outstanding communication skills to enable communication with different stakeholders on different level, both internally and externally.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks/projects.
- Highly motivated and confident self-presentation, willing to deliver outstanding performance
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office with focus on Excel
- Technical understanding of cutting tools could be an advantage
- Proven self-organization skills, with structured and target-oriented way of working
- High affinity for process management
- Knowledge of ERP systems and logistics systems helpful
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
