The IT Director is the primary point of contact for technology related objectives. This is a broad role that will oversee day-to-day user support as well as coordinate with the Management Team to ensure, the selection and use of the most effective tools, accurate and relevant data capture, and efficient internal and external communication.
Manage workload across the IT team and third-party IT vendors
Take on and assign IT related tasks for software and user support
Oversee the onboarding of new EDI partners
Select, Track and maintain hardware
Utilize best practices to install and maintain servers, manage data back-ups and identify data risks
Oversee the maintenance of Microsoft & NetSuite tools
Work with Functional leaders to maintain streamlined systems processes. Make recommendations for enhancements to tools as needed.
Other key tasks as assigned based on rapid business growth
Experience, Education, and Skill Requirements
College degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Software Engineering or equivalent experience
5-10 year's experience managing technology for a growing small to mid-size company
Demonstrated success selecting and implementing ERP, Sales or Financial systems
5+ years of experience with SharePoint and Business Intelligence development
Ability to identify and extract relevant, quality data for reporting and analysis
Highly skilled with Microsoft Office tools
Solid understanding of CRM and ERP process flows (NetSuite preference)
Strong personnel interaction skills, critical thinking and problem-solving ability
Strong ability to succinctly document issues and solutions
Work Environment
The IT Director role is performed in a typical office setting, under the supervision of a manager. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, employees, partners and others encountered in the course of work is critical.
