What will you do?

As the Systems Application Engineer III, your role is vital for managing the technology supporting the Security Command Center, enterprise physical access control system, and video management system. Responsibilities include monitoring technical controls for regulatory compliance, managing system patching and life cycle planning, overseeing asset onboarding and off-boarding, and leading projects related to access control and video management systems.

Key responsibilities also involve maintaining compliance with regulatory programs such as NERC CIP, SOX, BPU, and FERC Affiliate Restrictions, managing patching cycles for workstations and servers, upgrading/implementing systems, overseeing life cycle management and vulnerability mitigations, and supporting infrastructure projects.

To excel in this role, essential skills and capabilities include a Bachelor's Degree in IT or Engineering, or five or more years of technical experience in physical security systems, at least two years of experience with physical access control and video management systems, proficiency in administering Active Directory, strong networking and security IP device knowledge, troubleshooting skills in security technology, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Moreover, having prior experience in the security industry, certifications in AMAG Symmetry, Genetec, and Commend, familiarity with NERC CIP compliance, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, will further enhance your success in this role.

Your ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, respond to emergencies, and collaborate effectively with IT and Cyber Security Risk Compliance (CSRC) teams are also essential for success in this position.
