Opportunity to join a contract manufacturer that use heavy machinery to meet their clients' needs to make medical devices used to save patients' lives.
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with engineering team to develop robust, production-ready designs
Lead the process and manufacturing engineering efforts autonomously for a machine-shop environment that's constantly adding new lines and business opportunities
Develop and maintain bill of materials, line layout, production control methods, clear assembly instructions, fixtures, and pFMEA's
Plan, conduct and execute pre-production builds, with a vision for volume production
Experience Required
5 years' experience in a heavy-machinery manufacturing environment (medical device and/or CNC is a plus, but not necessary)
Previous hands-on experience building, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electro-mechanical systems/devices.
Knowledge of component forming processes, assembly processes, and production line optimization
