Basic knowledge of GMS principles and concepts that is applicable to throughput requirements
Experience in Throughput Improvement Process (TIP), methods and tools

Insight Global is looking for a Throughput Simulation Engineer in the Warren, Michigan area. The Throughput Simulation Engineer is going to be responsible for throughput analysis and simulation of new Vehicle programs throughout all phases of the Global Vehicle Development Process (GVDP). This individual will collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering (ME) centers in the design and optimization of current and future manufacturing systems and will support plants in throughput improvement initiatives. They will also be responsible for:
Implement simulation deliverables for assigned new/major Vehicle programs.
Optimally run experiments/analysis, interpret results, and generate standard reports
Respond to throughput simulation pulls from assigned manufacturing facilities
Extract necessary inputs from Manufacturing Planning documents and calculate Stand Alone Throughput (SAT) targets and overspeed
