An established, industry leading industrial manufacturer in Southern Indiana is actively seeking a Plant Manager to oversee their plastic injection molding tooling operation. Our client manufactures plastic injection molded components and is an industry leader in their respective product line.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Candidate will report to the Director of Operations while managing (5) salaried direct reports in a high speed, non-union plastic tool shop.
Complete ownership over the plant manufacturing/operations function
Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and department business plan goals.
Establish Production KPI's, and deliverables
Direct and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues..
Direct department process improvements and corrective actions.
Provide key input into the development of the department strategic business plan and identify and track key measurables to support the department business plan goals.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must have at least 5 years of tooling leadership experience
Prior experience working within plastic injection molding tooling is required
Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Candidate should be well versed in Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, and/or Continuous Improvement
