ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Project management

  • Ability to work on a strict deadline

  • Onboarding/Offboarding support: new hire orientation, employee paperwork, systems entry in SAP, and workflow/checklist

  • Data Analytics: daily, weekly, monthly reporting

  • General Administration projects

  • Intern support: recruitment, onboarding activities, participate as ambassador during Career Fairs and Community Engagement events

  • I9 compliance audit

  • Schedule meetings, HR events, and interviews, and maintain agendas

  • Support the coordination and scheduling of training sessions and workshops

  • Payroll support on employee transactions: reimbursement for PPE, referral bonuses, ...

  • Being part of the MAHLE Activities Committee

  • Employee recognition program: gifts ordering, service award events...



QUALIFICATIONS


  • Must be enrolled in a graduate study program at an accredited university

    • Major: Human Resources or Business Management

    • Class Standing: first or second year status accepted



  • Required skills: MS office (experience in the entire suite- especially Excel including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas)

  • Prior Human Resources or Workforce Development experience is a plus but not required

  • Must have precise, detailed-oriented organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and an eagerness to learn

  • Must have the ability to manage multiple projects in a volume environment, and possess previous experience in an office environment

  • Demonstrated passion for people, learning, and helping employees to succeed

  • Strong interpersonal and conflict-management skills
