Testing Lead (Fixed Term) at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Responsible for leading and driving the testing for all Stevens’ Finance workstreams.

· Partner with Stevens functional leads and external consultants to build test strategy, test plan, and detailed test schedule.

· Ensure testing resources are aligned in scope, timing and procedural expectations for every test cycle.

· Assess readiness for testing automation and identify automated testing tools where possible.

· Identify testers, onsite logistics, drive test execution ensure defects are properly retested and change requests are submitted accordingly.

· Communicate status and metrics to project team and leadership.

· Ensure that Unit, End to End and UAT test plan requirements are communicated and accepted by impacted Stevens’ functional team, consultants, and vendors where necessary.

· Provide coaching and support for functional and technical teams in the development of scenarios. Assist in developing testing activities, timeline, and test approach.

· Create example test scenarios in conjunction with Stevens functional leads from each workstream.

· Help ensure entry/exit criteria for each test cycle is met. Sign off on all test plans and test reports.

· Support testing kickoff and check-in meetings.

· Provide status updates in weekly project team meetings.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience within an ERP Testing capacity and/or a combination of relevant education, training, certifications and/or work experience. Advanced degree (Masters or higher) preferred. Experience with Workday preferred.

· Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel PowerPoint, Teams), OneDrive/Sharepoint, and SmartSheet tools.

· Ability to independently manage multiple deadlines and priorities with the highest degree of accuracy and efficiency. Flexible and adaptable.

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

· Team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
