The Senior Facilities Engineer - Building Automation System Analytics will be responsible for managing the Smart Building Data Analytics platform within the Global Facilities Team to drive energy savings/efficiencies, improve facility system functionality, as well as occupant comfort/safety. This includes developing the overall platform strategy, leading the ongoing platform expansion, driving utilization among site facility teams, as well as managing facility projects driven by the Smart Building platform and others as needed to meet the needs of the global team. This position will require developing proficiency working with the Enterprise BAS and will independently interact with regional facility staff, management, and vendors.
A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
• Lead the long-term Smart Building Data Analytics platform strategy which includes site infrastructure development, identifying the roadmap for deployment as well as future technology/software • Drive Smart Building Data Analytics platform utilization among site facility teams as well as the Global Facilities Team. Includes individual utilization through task execution and project development.
• Provide training to Maintenance/Facility Staff on the Enterprise Smart Building platform
• Manage facilities projects driven by the Smart Building platform and others as needed to meet global team needs.
• Contributes to and/or leads other projects aimed at energy efficiency and/or Mech/Elec/Plumbing upgrades
• Performs/coordinates energy analysis of facility systems/infrastructure and applies that analysis to optimize new and existing systems
• Review/mark-up engineering drawings, specifications, and equipment/system designs
• Create commissioning documentation, edit/approve vendor documentation and execution as needed
• Manage financial aspects of BAS projects/initiatives including drafting and submitting RFP/bid documents, creating/tracking purchase orders, capital expenditure requests
• Independently sets objectives aimed at completing assigned tasks/projects
• Lead/manage contractors performing installation and programming on any/all BAS components
• Adhere to operational policies, procedures, and safety requirements
• Perform additional duties as requested
