Your Role:
Join our dynamic team at MilliporeSigma as we seek a motivated and results-driven individual to fill the role of Product Specialist for our Reference Materials division. This remote position offers the opportunity to manage, develop, and expand our business within designated accounts. We're looking for a proactive professional who thrives in a field-based environment and is eager to identify and capitalize on new opportunities. Specific responsibilities include:
Manage, develop, and grow the MilliporeSigma Reference Materials business within assigned territory
Proactively seek out new business opportunities within the territory
Collaborate closely with MilliporeSigma Account Managers, Product Management, R&D and Marketing to achieve financial targets
Achieve sales goals exceeding $10 million for Reference Material products within the assigned territory
Maintain a strong focus on understanding and managing customer needs in a proactive and professional manner
Build and maintain relationships with customers
Manage the end-to-end sales process for assigned products
Prioritize selling activity by mapping key contacts and decision-makers
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape
Stay updated on technical product knowledge and scientific advancements
Develop and maintain a short and long-term opportunity pipeline
Involves up to 30 % travel
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Chemistry, or other Life Science discipline
1+ years of life science sales experience
Preferred Qualifications:
PhD in Chemistry or other Life Science discipline
Understanding of analytical testing techniques including chromatography and/or mass spectrometry
Proficient in effective sales techniques, business acumen, and presentation skills
Proficient in written and verbal communication skills
Strong commitment to ethical business practices
Goal-oriented and self-motivated
Organization and time management skills
