Johnsonville products are available in retail stores in all 50 states. As a member of this sales team, you'll be the link between Johnsonville and millions of consumers, who enjoy our sausage as part of a quick breakfast or an outdoor tailgate with friends, family and neighbors. As a member of our retail sales team, you'll work closely with Johnsonville's marketing and category management teams to develop and deliver consumer insights and category reviews that help our customers be successful. You'll also work with our broker partners to make sure that sales strategies are fully and effectively executed, from headquarters to the retail stores. Johnsonville, LLC Posting Team Lead Walmart and Sam's Position Overview: Johnsonville, LLC offers top-quality products in the U.S. and International markets. As the Team Lead for Walmart & Sam's within our US Business Unit, you will drive the success of the Walmart team, one of Johnsonville's key accounts. Your role includes leading the Walmart and Sam's teams, making calls to Walmart Corporate headquarters, and developing brand strategies for the entire US market. Responsibilities:


  • Lead the cross-functional Walmart Team
  • Develop and align strategies for Johnsonville's largest accounts
  • Own strategy, development and execution of national and regional plans
  • Define sales and market share growth targets, collaborating with insights partners
  • Partner with key customer departments for innovation and product launches
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to achieve market-specific goals
  • Influence national pricing trends through customer collaboration and internal teams
  • Build relationships with Category Managers, Buyers, eCommerce teams and Executives
  • Create innovative programs and promotions to drive awareness
  • Execute initiatives to achieve distribution objectives
  • Manage P&L for Walmart and Sam's
  • Maintain distribution across all Johnsonville categories
  • Use fact-based selling and strategic planning to grow market share

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required

Experience:

  • Minimum of six (6) years in sales, preferably in consumer-packaged goods or food sales
  • Sales experience with Walmart or Sam's Club
  • Experience building relationships with key customers, including senior executives
  • Proven P&L responsibility and Trade Promotion Management experience
  • Experience with syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI, etc.)
  • Shopper marketing or other marketing background is a plus
  • Broker Management experience preferred

Skills and Competencies:

  • Superior strategic and tactical business planning skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong team leadership and collaboration skills

Other Requirements:

  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 30%
