The IT Project Manager (portfolio and change) is responsible for planning, executing, and closing application projects. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
Develop a detailed project plan, including timelines, resources, and budgets
Create and maintain project documentation, such as project charters and schedules
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to the project plan
Build and guide cross-functional project teams
Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members
Provide guidance and assistance to team members throughout the project lifecycle
Foster a collaborative and productive team environment
Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders
Communicate project progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders regularly
Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their needs are met
Prepare and deliver regular status reports to project stakeholder
Allocate and optimize resources to meet project goals
Report on financial performance and resource utilization
Minimum skills / qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Five (5) years of experience in project management overseeing application development projects
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in project management software and tools
Experience guiding application projects in manufacturing environments
