BC Forward is looking for Fork Lift Operator - in Plymouth, IN 46563
Position Title: Fork Lift Operator
Location: Plymouth, IN 46563
Expected Duration: 6 months contract
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr on W2
Work Schedule:

Weekly Hours: 40 hours + possible overtime; 6 days -
Shifts:- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Occasional split shifts: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Pay Rate:
- 1st Shift: $19.00/hour
- 2nd Shift: $20.00/hour
- 3rd Shift: $20.00/hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and perform regular inspections.
- Maintain forklifts through systematic maintenance and cleaning.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for accurate material tracking and data entry.
- Assist with manual tasks as directed by warehouse supervisors (e.g., sampling, inventory, cleaning).
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- During seed delivery seasons, load and unload transport vehicles with quality packages to meet customer standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols and initiate emergency procedures as needed.
Preferred Experience:
- 1 year of forklift operation experience.
- 1 year of warehouse experience.
- Forklift certification preferred.
Skills:
- Accurate inventory counting skills.
- Ability to read scales.
- Strong multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Safe driving practices with the forklift.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Capability to work in confined spaces with a forklift.
Qualifications/Basic Requirements:
- Pass a background check and other pre-employment screenings.
- Possess reliable transportation to the worksite.
- Maintain a positive attitude, honesty, and respect for all team members.
Additional Requirements:
- Safety toe work shoes/boots meeting ASTM F2412-05, F2413-05, or equivalent standards.
- Wear long pants and a shirt that covers the shoulders.
