THDF Front End Loader




DESCRIPTION:


This position will normally work a rotating night shift, 3/2/2 schedule from 7pm to 7 am but may be required to cover the position on other shifts. The Front End Loader position operates loaders and conveyors for the chip unloading area.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete walk around inspections of rolling stock
• Monitors chip unloading conveyors and ensures chips are going to correct locations
• Visually monitors the quality of chips
• Operates loader and monitors that it is running correctly and efficiently
  • Performs basic maintenance tasks
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
• Follow all established standard operating procedures
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
• Perform other tasks assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus

COMPETENCIES:

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Requires good listening skills
• Requires good data analysis and interpretation skills
• Must pass Front End Loader skills test
• Must be flexible to schedule changes
