Job summary:

During the Fellowship, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable on-the-job experience and contribute to real-world projects in the professional area of Logistics Engineering. As a Fellow, you will perform many of the same tasks as our current supply chain and logistics engineering teams.

The fellowship is typically 12 weeks in length, per the Hiring our Heroes cohort schedule and is paid per the Department of Defense Skillbridge program policy.

Basic Qualifications:

• Warehouse Management: Working knowledge of warehouse operations, processes, and practices.
• Material handling: Experience using tools and machines required to move materials around a warehouse or from facility to facility
• Eligible to participate in a Skillbridge Corporate Fellowship and willing to partner with Hiring Our Heroes as part of cohort 24-3.
• Must be able to relocate to Seguin, TX for the duration of the fellowship, and complete daily work commute using reliable transportation.

Top candidates will also have:

• Strong initiative, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong decision making, critical thinking, and tactical and strategic planning skills
• Academic credentials in the focus area of the fellowship.
• Leadership experience.
• Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel.

Additional Information:

• Travel requirements are < 5%
• This position is located in Seguin, TX
• Domestic relocation is NOT available
• VISA Sponsorship is NOT Available
