As a Senior Meeting Coordinator and a member of Customer Development team, you'll lead the planning and coordination of various internal and external leadership forums. In this role, you'll report to the VP, Sales Strategy & Execution, and take work assignments from a variety of key customers, Customer Development Presidents, Senior Leaders and Human Resources Leader.



In this role you will:




  • Be responsible for the preparation of various Customer Development related events including but not limited to the National Sales Meeting, customer visits, innovation summits, external customer forums (ie: NACDS), Sales Excellence Awards, etc.




  • Arrange and coordinate event planning calls and event planning group meetings




  • Identify and secure venues for each meeting or event, conduct site visits and negotiate venue contracts (with assistance/support from our external travel partner)




  • Serve as venue liaison and coordinate all aspects of venue arrangements to include meeting room arrangements, audiovisual equipment, rooming lists, and post-event billing




  • Oversee the procurement of all necessary meeting services (e.g., printing, delivery, video-taping, etc.), soliciting cost estimates, select best services, and efficiently monitor cost and quality




  • Manage multiple projects and events in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail




  • Lead cross functional groups to coordinate events that meet the needs of all stakeholders




  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and accuracy in all work products




  • Effectively manage multiple key stakeholders of all levels




  • Manage meeting budgets including all costs associated with key responsibilities

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years experience




  • Proven accuracy and attention to detail and demonstrated ability to work with all levels of leadership




  • Excellent oral and written communication skills




  • Capable of setting priorities when multiple demands are present




  • Intermediate competency of Microsoft Office to support successful execution of role responsibilities (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc)




  • Ability to travel (domestic) 15%






Preferred Qualifications:




  • CMP (Certified Meeting Planner)
