Job Description:

Prominent workers compensation defense firm is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their growing team.


The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of Workers Compensation Defense experience and firm understanding of EAMS (both filing and retrieving documents).


Overview of duties:

• Calendaring depos, hearings, attorney deadlines, etc.


• Composing and proofreading legal documents, memos and correspondence


• maintain electronic case files


• Filing/e-filing with the courts


• Transcribing electronic dictation

Required Experience & Skills:

• 2+ years Workers Compensation Defense experience required


• Strong computer skills


• Strong understanding of and experience with EAMS


• Team oriented attitude and desire to succeed as a team

Compensation: $55k - $68k annually. 100% employer paid medical and vision plans. Option to work fully remotely but must be located in California.
