Job Description:

A fast growing non-profit company is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team in Rancho Cordova, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with non-profit financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.


• Process accounts payable and receivable.


• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.


• Prepare and process payroll.


• Assist with budget preparation and financial reporting.


• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.


• Prepare financial statements and reports for management and board meetings.


• Ensure compliance with non-profit accounting standards and regulations.


• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.


• Support the finance team with various accounting tasks as needed.

Job Requirements, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.


• Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a non-profit organization.


• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


• Excellent organizational and time management skills.


• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.


• Knowledge of non-profit accounting principles and regulations.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
