Job Description:

Position Overview:



We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated HR Specialist with a strong emphasis on data entry. This role is critical in ensuring that HR records are meticulously maintained and updated. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling large volumes of data with accuracy and efficiency while also providing support for various HR functions.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Data Entry & Management:

    • Accurately enter and update employee information in the HRIS system and other databases.

    • Maintain and audit digital and physical HR records to ensure data integrity.

    • Generate reports and analyze data to support HR initiatives and compliance requirements.

    • Process and verify payroll and timekeeping data.



  • HR Administration:

    • Assist in the administration of HR policies and procedures.

    • Support the recruitment process by managing applicant data, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.

    • Handle employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.

    • Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related issues.



  • Compliance & Reporting:

    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

    • Prepare and submit mandatory reports and documentation as required.

    • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary data and reports.



  • Support HR Projects:

    • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving processes and employee experience.

    • Collaborate with other departments to align HR activities with organizational goals.

    • Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on HR best practices and technology.




Qualifications:


  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR role, with a strong focus on data entry.

    • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems; experience with [specific software, e.g., Workday, ADP] is a plus.

    • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.




  • Skills:

    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

    • Strong organizational and time management skills.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
