Location: Scottsdale, AZ 85258




Days: Monday - Friday




Hours: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM




Full-time: Benefit Eligible




In this role, you will:

• Accurately accession patient specimens into the laboratory information system


• Provide support for pathologists, histology technicians, and gross technicians in the anatomic pathology lab


• Perform and document scheduled preventative maintenance on instruments and stain lines


• Correlate H&E and IHC slides for scanning and distribution


• Embed processed specimens in paraffin


• Prepare chemical and biological waste for removal


• File, retrieve and scan pathology materials for send out studies and specialized testing


• Answer phones and serve as a resource for clients and patients

All you need is:

• High School Diploma, minimum


• One year of laboratory training or experience is preferred, or qualified to receive on the job training


• Strong reading, writing, communication, multitasking, time management, and analytical skills


• Ability to operate general laboratory and office equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers, automated slide scanning and staining systems, microscopes, and audible alarms
