Quality Auditor - 2nd Shift at Menasha Packaging in Muscatine, Iowa

Job Description:

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Represent the Quality Department in a positive and consistent manner.


• Verify product quantities, check product quality, verify correct part numbers, verify correct placement/orientation based on department.


• Communicate quality issues and count discrepancies with Pick & Puller employees.


• Collaborate with Pick & Puller employees to address errors


• Scan the paper/tags on the carts as the product is being verified.


• Thoroughly understand and be able to perform regular Quality Audits on customer carts.


• Complete required documentation correctly and accurately.


• Work closely with Pick & Pullers to resolve quality issues in a timely manner which may require real-time and/or follow up activities.


• Ensure quality activities are performed in conformance to requirements following GMPs, SOPs and customer requirements.


• Record inspection in the electronic audit log.


• Participate in internal/external audits.


• Perform Pick & Puller duties as needed.


• Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

• Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner


• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business


• Ability to effectively work in teams - meets deadlines and responsibilities to help team meet goals, listens to others and values opinions, promotes a team atmosphere


• Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people


• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles

• The starting wage for this position is $19.50/hour plus a shift differential, with opportunities to train in other positions with higher pay
