Function as Sales Representative, specializing in Janitorial supplies and equipment Sales. This specialist position will develop sales programs for all accounts in addition to developing work-with schedules with sales representatives and Sales Managers.
Note: This position requires daily travel throughout Northern/Central NJ and surrounding territory.
Responsibilities:
Work with sales rep 80% of the week in the field
Identifying janitorial opportunities within accounts
Selling Jan San products
Knowledge of basic janitorial Equipment
Understanding Chemical and cleaning products, tools and applications
Demonstrating products
Educate the BradyPLUS sales force on product knowledge
Communicate new products and market trends regularly
Work with regional, local equipment specialists to identify and support janitorial equipment opportunities. Work with Jan San Sales Reps in the Mid-Atlantic Region; direct, supervise and report on KPI, metrics, regional leads in the region.
Responsible for performance management of regional representatives.
Work with marketing and purchasing departments, across Envoy, to devise programs for all janitorial products
Work with key Jan San vendors to develop and follow through on Envoy directed initiatives
Conduct product training for sales force monthly, during sales meetings
Conduct Jan San seminars on a quarterly basis for customers
Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred.
5+ years experience in Sales, Marketing, Technical, Business, or Market Development.
Ability to effectively work with technical people to senior executives.
Ability to foster a collaborative relationship in a cross-functional team and with customers.
Ability to analyze business and technical requirements, and propose a solution that exceeds customer expectations and increases the company's economic value.
Must have a valid driver's license.
