As part of our ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced AV Support Engineer for a long term contract supporting the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in providing comprehensive river and flood forecasts and warnings, for use by the public and emergency managers to protect life and property. This critical water intelligence also supports socio-economic decision-making for a sustained and enhanced economy.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Audio/Video Engineer with a strong background in Crestron, networking, and designing audio/video solutions. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of audio/video systems for our clients. If you are passionate about staying ahead of industry trends, enjoy problem-solving, and have a creative approach to designing audio/video solutions, we want to hear from you. We expect the AV Support Engineer will work on a part-time basis for roughly 10-20 hours per week.



Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities of the AV Support Engineer:

  • Design and implement audio/video systems tailored to meet client needs.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert guidance.
  • Configure and program Crestron control systems for seamless integration of audio/video components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to audio/video systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.


Qualifications

The AV Support Engineer selected should have the following Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as an Audio/Video Engineer, with a focus on designing and implementing solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Crestron programming and configuration.
  • In-depth understanding of networking principles and protocols.
  • Familiarity with audio and video signal processing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


The Ideal AV Support Engineer will have the following Qualifications:

  • Industry certifications such as Crestron Certified Programmer (CCP) or related certifications.
  • Experience with other audio/video control systems and technologies.
  • Knowledge of video conferencing systems and collaboration tools.
