Regional Maintenance Outage Planner

Primary Responsibilities:
Reports to the Regional Maintenance Director
Create, update, coordinate, and own the regional master outage schedule with consideration of client needs, power purchase agreements, service agreements, client fiscal years, and turbine generator outages.
Coordinates with regional resources to balance work across the annual outage schedule and ensure no regional resource outage overlaps.
Collaborates with assigned facility Maintenance Planners on outage schedules and develops multiple regional outage templates
Work directly with procurement, regional resources, and management to develop and continuously improve the Outage Readiness Index (ORI) process.
Interfaces with Procurement and facilities to procure competent and competitive vendors
Develops scopes of work with field-based personnel and interfaces with Procurement to bid, award, and schedule
Relies on facilities, field-based Planners, and/or Project Managers to progress schedule, plan and optimize during outage execution, and update actual to schedule
Contribute to completing the review of Post Outage Summaries with improvement actions forward.
A bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience in EFW or an industrial environment are desirable.
Experience in outage planning and a good understanding of power plant operations or related industry
Project Management experience with strong Excel skills
Industrial Maintenance experience is strongly preferred
High proficiency in the use of work management systems such as PeopleSoft, ALM or similar system
Highly skilled and proficient in the use of planning tools such as Microsoft Project Primavera or Proficient in MS Office, especially with Excel (spreadsheets, modeling, and pivot tables), Outlook, and Access
Able to communicate effectively with management at all levels, from the corporate offices and operating facilities
Able to compile planning documentation for review and effectively make revisions
Good presentation skills for effective communications with facility management and the outage project managers
Experience and skills in planning and coordinating multiple projects through their various phases.
Must be willing to travel to assigned plants for planning, execution, and reviews. Typical duration could last up to 2 weeks.
50% travel annually.
They must be able to use respiratory protection equipment, climb ladders and scaffolds, and enter and traverse tight spaces and areas.
Must be able to walk, sit, climb, balance, crawl and kneel
Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry 50 lbs or more
The expected base salary for this position is $102,672-128,392. This is a good-faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this position. The final salary figure will take into account a variety of factors including experience, ability, and location. Reworld Waste is committed to paying its staff equitably, and these ranges should not be considered career salary limits or caps.
