Job Summary:

The Superintendent will lead the field team by partnering with subcontractors to ensure our ground-up multi-family projects are built safely and on schedule.

Responsibilities:

Demonstrate Skybeck's Core Values - W.E. A.R.E.
  • Provide detailed coordination of all subcontractors, material vendors, design professionals and 3rd party inspectors.
  • Manage the project setup and site utilization including but not limited to signage, job trailer, security, fencing, first-aid, temporary utilities, etc.
  • Understand the expectations of the client and then lead the team through the successful execution of the construction process.
  • Implement the Skybeck QC Program ensuring that all building components are installed per design documents and manufactures requirements.
  • Implement the Skybeck Safety Program with to goal of having the cleanest and safest projects in the industry.
  • Manage the team to ensure that material procurement and deliveries achieve schedule.
  • Manage the general conditions budget and review invoices to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain and push project schedule to contracted delivery dates.
  • Manage and train onsite assistants to be the best in the industry.
  • Oversee the punch list, turnover, and commissioning of the project.
  • Coordinate all building inspections and certificates of occupancy.
  • Maintain project documentation including daily reports with project photographs and as-built documentation.

Qualifications:
  • Team oriented with excellent leadership skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex problems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in the construction industry (preferably Commercial, Multi-family, or Hospitality)

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift to 25 pounds. Ability to travel to and from meetings, trainings, or other business-related events.
