Job Summary | The College of Social Work (CoSW) at University of Kentucky (UK) is seeking a Facilities Liaison & Logistics Manager. This position will be responsible for oversight of all facilities management at CoSW. This person will serve as the primary point of contact for all day-to-day requests and functions of all CoSW facilities. Duties include but are not limited to, liaising between CoSW administrators, UK Facilities, and external contractors/vendors. Oversight of all physical infrastructure for CoSW spaces; working in concert with other CoSW and UK offices to ensure appropriate work site and work station needs; maintaining current records and floor plans of college spaces, managing inventory/supply needs, etc. Events planning and logistics will also be a primary responsibility of this position. This includes coordination of operational aspects of all meetings, events and outings for CoSW employees, students, and alumni; performing negotiation of contracts and rate agreements with external parties offering services connected to CoSW meetings/events; providing on-site coordination for events and meetings and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Arranging travel for all CoSW constituents, as needed. The supervision component of this position will entail oversight of event and facility staff at the college. This will include workload monitoring, coaching, performance evaluations, interviewing/hire of new team members. IEBC (Internal Employee Being Considered). |
